The Scientific Advisory Board of InnovationsKapital consists of leading researchers with specific scientific and technical expertise within our investment sectors of Information & Communications Technology and Healthcare and Life Sciences. The Scientific Advisory Board acts as an important channel to our scientific network and gives us an additional scientific and technical perspective during the investment process. The Scientific Advisory Board also advises our portfolio companies on an "as and when required" basis.

Professor and chairman, Department of Immunotechnology, Lund University, since 1990. His scientific focus is biomedical applications of molecules of the immune system, mainly antibodies, and he has >220 publication in peer reviewed journals. He is a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences and has a BSc, MSc and Doctor of Science in Biochemistry. He has also started two biotech companies; one listed at Stockholm Stock Exchange, and is a board member of several life science companies.
PhD in Thin Film Physics at Linköping University, 1981. President of Swedish ICT Research. Swedish ICT is the Swedish research institute in the ICT area that covers generic areas such as the future Internet, embedded intelligence, and security. They perform world class research in areas like nano electronics and distributed systems and do experimental research in fast moving research areas like interaction design and energy saving electronics.
MD. PhD, Professor of endocrinology, chairman Department of Internal Medicine, Sahlgrenska University. Olle is a board member of Capio AB, Havsfrun AB, Tercica Inc, Medhelp AB, Gastrotech A/S and Sahltech AB.
Professor of Applied Physics, Linköping University. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Solid State Electronics. Ingemar is the head of a multidisciplinary research division of the university. He is a member of both the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA).
Guest Professor at KTH. Former Senior Vice President at Telia, responsible for future innovations, and former CTO of Telia Mobile.
Advisor within the ICT sector, with focus on the software industry. He has been on the InnovationsKapital’s Scientific Advisory Board since its start. Staffan Truvé is CEO of the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) and Interactive Institute, senior executiv vice president of Swedish ICT Research and Chief Scientist/CTO of Recorded Future.
He was previously CEO and Founder of CR&T and CEO of SICS and Interactive Institute. He has a MSc in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology, a PhD in Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology and an MBA from Göteborg University.
Senior Vice President, Public & Environmental Affairs and a member of the Group Executive Committee of AB Volvo. He is also the Chairman of the board of SAFER Vehicle and Traffic Safety Centre and board member of Lindholmen Science Park, Swedish Research Council, Volvo Technology and Volvo Technology Transfer. Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. 1998-2006 he was the President of Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. Mr. Sundgren holds a Master of Engineering, a PhD in Material Physics, and a professorship in Thin Film Physics.
