Business:
Carmen Systems was acquired by the US based company Boeing in March 2006.
Carmen develops, sells, installs and maintains software for resource optimization focusing in particular on the airline industry and the transportation. Today, Carmen Systems co-operates with leading research centers at universities world-wide. The Carmen systems are currently utilized by companies all over Europe and Mexico. Carmens clients are some of the major airlines in the world including among others: British Airways, Lufthansa, SAS, Aeromexico, Air France, KLM. Moreover, the Swedish Railways (SJ) is also a client. Carmens solutions have contributed to substantial cost savings and created flexible operations for all clients.
